Emergency Help

Something stopped working? Let's get you moving again.

Get hands-on remote help with Linux, servers, Docker, websites and self-hosted apps. Message Mike through the website inbox or live chat first to check whether help is available now.

Check availability before purchasing. A 15–60 minute start window is available only after I confirm your issue, availability and remote access. Buying support time alone does not reserve an immediate session. This is not a 24/7 response guarantee.

Get help in three steps

  1. Open the website chat. Describe what broke, your operating system, any error messages and how urgently you need help. If chat is unavailable, send a message through the contact page; a reply may not be immediate.
  2. Confirm the plan. I'll confirm whether I can help remotely, the expected start time and the support block to purchase.
  3. Book your time below. Once payment and access are ready, we start the agreed session.

What I can help with

  • Linux desktops, servers, failed services and updates
  • Docker and Compose containers, configuration and networking
  • Websites, Nginx/Apache, reverse proxies, DNS and TLS certificates
  • SSH access, permissions, firewalls and server resource problems
  • Nextcloud, Immich, Paperless-ngx and other supported self-hosted apps
  • Backup and restore troubleshooting when usable backups are available

Before we connect

You must own the system or be authorized to approve the work. Have working internet and an agreed remote-access method ready. Tell me about critical workloads or missing backups before we begin.

Never send passwords, private keys or recovery codes through ordinary chat, email or checkout notes. We'll agree on a secure access method and discuss disruptive changes before proceeding.

You are purchasing troubleshooting time and expertise, not a guaranteed fix. Hardware repairs, inaccessible machines and specialist recovery may need another service. Additional paid work requires your approval.
