Bring your smart devices together
Connect compatible lights, smart plugs, motion and door sensors, temperature and humidity sensors, water-leak sensors, and cameras into a useful system. We can configure supported devices, connect them to your network, create practical routines, and add supported controls to your preferred app.
Choose the right starting point
- $149 planning: one 60-minute remote review for one property, up to 15 proposed devices, your preferred app, network needs, and up to three desired routines. Includes a compatibility shortlist and implementation estimate; no installation.
- $399 remote starter: one existing supported hub/app at one property, up to five compatible devices, two simple automations, app setup on one phone, functional checks, and handover notes. Up to three hours of remote work; devices must already have safe power, network access, and physical placement.
- $799 Home Assistant starter: initial installation on one approved customer-provided ready host, up to ten compatible devices, three simple automations, one basic dashboard, companion-app setup on up to two phones, configuration backup, testing, and handover. Up to six hours of remote work; supported integrations only.
Fixed packages are accepted only after we confirm the listed work fits the allowance. If discovery changes the scope, we agree on a revised plan before extra work or charges.
Cameras and on-site installation
Camera mounting, sensor placement, network connection, PoE equipment, recording setup, and on-site installation are individually quoted after reviewing your location, device models, mounting surfaces, cable routes, and access. Remote camera setup can be included within a device allowance when agreed; NVR deployment, new cable runs, and recording-storage design are separate.
Your preferred app, where compatible
Tell us whether you want Home Assistant, Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, SmartThings, the manufacturer app, or another app. We verify the exact model and required features before promising integration. Live video, recording, notifications, two-way audio, and local control may have different support. Some equipment needs a bridge, hub, vendor account, or paid subscription. One app may not expose every feature.
Useful routines
Motion-activated lighting, door-open notifications, leak alerts, temperature and humidity notifications, scheduled plugs, and agreed camera notifications. A simple automation means one supported trigger, up to two conditions, and up to two actions without custom code.
Ownership and scope
Your accounts remain yours. We agree on camera placement, access permissions, recording retention, remote access, and any cloud services. No public port exposure is required by default. This is convenience automation and device setup, not monitored alarm response or a life-safety system. Mains electrical work, regulated alarm work, structural changes, and specialist high-access work require appropriately qualified providers and are not included.
Tell us about your project
Send your city/ZIP, device brands and model numbers, quantities, preferred app/phone, router or hub, existing wiring, desired routines, local versus cloud preference, budget, and whether you need physical installation. Custom ESPHome, MQTT, and sensor projects can be scoped separately through our custom sensors service.
Contact us to confirm compatibility and availability before purchasing. Hardware, subscriptions, travel, and ongoing support are separate unless specifically included.
Planning an on-site visit?
Contact us before buying a service that requires travel. On-site availability and travel are confirmed separately. Travel time is $75 per hour round trip, quoted in 30-minute increments, plus approved vehicle expenses, parking, and tolls. Long-distance trips are individually quoted. Technical labor is separate, and travel already included in an accepted quote or pickup fee is not charged twice.
We agree on the starting location, total travel allowance, expenses, and timing before you commit. Later changes to our own itinerary do not increase your accepted travel quote. A service purchase alone does not authorize an additional travel charge or reserve a visit.
