Put a suitable computer you already own to work as a useful business server.
Included for $499
- Pre-booking suitability review of one healthy, compatible x86-64 business computer.
- A standard supported Linux server installation or preparation of a suitable existing Linux host.
- One agreed application: Nextcloud, Immich, Paperless-ngx, Jellyfin, or Uptime Kuma, when the hardware is suitable.
- One local-network access method, routine updates, basic service-start and access checks, and concise setup notes.
- A 30-minute handover explaining access, updates, data locations, and the backup work still needed.
How the work is delivered
This package covers up to four hours of scheduled remote or guided implementation, including handover, on a pre-approved setup. You supply the computer, installation media if needed, working wired network, and a second device during OS installation. Any further work is quoted and approved before it begins. On-site work and travel are separate.
Before changing the system
You keep ownership of the hardware. Make and verify a separate backup of anything you need, confirm you are authorized to change the computer, and approve any disk changes. Installing an operating system is not a secure-erasure service.
What is separate
Replacement parts, backup destinations and backup setup, bulk data migration, public internet exposure, remote-access setup, business integrations, multi-user permissions projects, hardware repair, ongoing support, and advanced storage or RAID changes are separate. If you already have a ready Linux host and only need an app installed, the $350 Private Application Setup may be enough.
