New Computer Setup & File Transfer

Get comfortable on your new computer
Standard setup covers one compatible Windows or Linux PC: up to 90 minutes of remote setup, OS updates initiated and checked, up to three supported applications, one email account, basic security settings, and a short handover.
The $349 package adds transfer of up to 100 GB of agreed readable personal files from one healthy source computer or drive, with up to two additional hours of attended transfer work. We confirm the transfer method and time required before purchase; unsuitable jobs receive a separate quote.
Installed programs and paid licenses do not automatically transfer. Cloud downloads, damaged drives, application databases, business migrations, hardware, and backup storage are separate. The source is not erased; you confirm the files before retiring it. A person must be available at the computers for remote work.
Contact us before purchasing so we can confirm compatibility, scope, and availability. Hardware, licenses, subscriptions, travel, and ongoing support are separate unless explicitly included. Additional work requires an approved quote. Do not send passwords in order notes.

Planning an on-site visit?
Contact us before buying a service that requires travel. On-site availability and travel are confirmed separately. Travel time is $75 per hour round trip, quoted in 30-minute increments, plus approved vehicle expenses, parking, and tolls. Long-distance trips are individually quoted. Technical labor is separate, and travel already included in an accepted quote or pickup fee is not charged twice.
We agree on the starting location, total travel allowance, expenses, and timing before you commit. Later changes to our own itinerary do not increase your accepted travel quote. A service purchase alone does not authorize an additional travel charge or reserve a visit.
